Shannon Steele

Shannon’s work lives where story, science, and systems meet. She holds a B.S. in Psychology from Black Hills State University and an M.S. in Community Health and Prevention Sciences from the University of Montana. Her work focuses on community-based, regenerative system design, developing models that meet people where they’re at, strengthen belonging, and a build capacity to collectively solve problems. Shannon’s diverse professional background includes supporting youth in residential settings, adults with developmental disabilities, individuals in crisis, and veterans. Shannon is deeply interested in the bidirectional dialogue between body and mind, the healing power of storytelling, and nature’s lessons in regeneration.
